Our family motto is "by virtue, I grow" - we don't want to be fashionable, we just want to see what is possible. Rooted in the love for our earth, our passion is to make wines that go down easy for how scarce they are. A super fruity wine with some serious juice. Raspberries, blueberries and mulberries are balanced nicely by savoury notes of liquorice and dried herbs, with just enough sweetness and a lingering finish.
It's a vibrant, lighter style of red, perfect for those warmer months. I can't think of many varieties better suited to the dry Mediterranean climate of McLaren Vale. Able to withstand torrid conditions while embedding its wines with a wiry cage of tannin and bright acidity, carignan is one of many tickets into the future.

Services
We were bred into wine. Firstly, of our birth place in the Hunter Valley, and now, home is McLaren Vale after Mum & Dad acquired their first patch here in 1980. Since then, together, we have been able to group a selection of vineyards spread across this wonderful region, between hills & sea, under our own family estate.
Less than one hour South of Adelaide, and you arrive in this pristine natural region, lapped by the Gulf of St. Vincent and framed by the Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale is our home on the Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia. We pay our deep respect to the traditional owners of the land here, the Kaurna people.
There's no better way to understand the role that different vintages play on our wines than by tasting the three latest releases of our flagship Leask Grenache. Better still when it's 30% off RRP. We're proud as punch when it comes to this wine, from a block of only five rows and really showcases what McLaren Vale old vine grenache speaks of.
Meet the Hither & Yon red wine range, laid back in charm yet distinctive in character. With global influences grown in our own backyard, our varietal selection is synonymous with our nature and you can find one for every occasion. Some to age well and some to drink now, our traditional classics and new wave style offer choice and adventure for all tastes.
Hither & Yon's white and ros wines are made for Australian lifestyle. Our crisp, clean flavours are perfect pairing with fresh seafood, antipasto, Asian cuisine or just on their own. Natural fruit born of sunshine and our coast. The Prosecco, Ros & Petit Blanc in our range represent our passion for light and fresh, but still authentic, varietal wines.

I really enjoyed their wine range. Their rose and white wine are fantastic. Their reds including cabernet sauvignon and shiraz were lighter than usual but they were so easy to drink. I think they are really good for people who are starting to drink red wine. The place looks beautiful and aesthetically pleasing to sit down and drink some wine. I highly recommend this place.

As if you needed ANOTHER reason to visit Willunga!
What an amazing little place! Well, not so little as it goes!
We were greeted by the H&Y crew as we entered a gorgeous old building which apparently used to be a butcher shop! Malcolm and Richard were our hosts who greeted us with a smile and a table filled to the brim with tasting 'apparatus', namely 4 glasses, each filled with a little sample; an empty glass to make our own blend; a couple of handily placed 'spittoons' for the errr.... 'unwanted wine'; a scattering of measuring jugs in case we wanted to get

Hither & Yon is the passion-project of two local McLaren Vale brothers. Producing grapes for others has transitioned to holding back some fruit to express the flavour of the grape & it's vineyard in a minimal intervention winemaking style.
The tasting room is in a gorgeous heritage building and has been tastefully renovated with a country style.
When tasting you are invited to sit at the communal table and sample from Melbourne based Plumm glassware.
The Cab Sauv on tasting has dark red fruit and minty eucalypt on the nose, and a long dry grippy finish.
The Tempranillo has bright
