I Am Pilates is a fully equipped boutique studio located in Newport on Sydney northern beaches offering Private and Semi-Private Sessions. At I Am Pilates you will find passionate instructors determined to give each client a selective, challenging and fulfilling session, considering each client's physical capabilities, goals and needs.

Our mission is to give each client a selective, challenging and fulfilling session, taking into account each client's physical capabilities, goals and needs. At I Am Pilates you will find passionate, highly qualified instructors who will encourage you to embrace movement and positivity through Pilates.
Pilates is an exercise method that was developed by Joseph Pilates (1883-1967). He believed that we should be balanced equally in body, mind, and spirit. He concluded that our modern lifestyle, bad posture, and inefficient breathing were the roots of poor health.

In order to change that, he developed a regimen of exercises aimed at helping correct muscular imbalances and improve posture, coordination, balance, strength, and flexibility as well as to increase breathing capacity.He also invented a variety of equipment, based on spring resistance, which could be used to perform these exercises.
Our new client intro offer is designed to help you understand more about the Pilates principles, get familiar with the studio machinery and to discuss your goals and needs. After the initial consultation you will enjoy another private session where you will have a better grasp of the method whilst exploring the repertoire- all under the guidance of our highly trained Pilates instructors.
We would like to encourage you to be your best and healthier version no matter where you are. We've created a series of online workouts so you can take control of your exercise routine from the comfort of your home or outdoors, anytime and anywhere! The 8 videos now available are a combination of Pilates, fitness and strength based exercises.

Carolina has been looking after me for over 3 years. She has incredible knowledge her sessions are approached holistically she always knows what I need and challenges me each week.
The Studio is equipped with only the best and her attention to cleanliness and hygiene is first class!

I have been training with Carolina at I Am Pilates for about 10 weeks and would recommend to anyone. Carolina makes the sessions fun, they are different each time and she has been building the challenge and intensity each week. If you are looking to build strength, improve mobility and balance, or are looking for a creative way to mix up your fitness routine then give Carolina a call and get going.

I loved my first studio pilates session with Carolina because everything was so well explained! Carolina works you from your toes up, fully explaining everything in detail, its purpose, highlighting which muscles to engage when, all with a smile and good sense of humor - I truly didn't feel like I was working out (except for the sore muscles the next day!) Highly recommend I Am Pilates for an engaging, supportive and personalised pilates workout.

I have been going to I am Pilates for just under a year, and I'm so glad that I am. Carolina is extremely supportive, helpful and knowledgeable. The sessions only ever have a maximum of 3 participants, so it always feels very intimate and you don't get a 'lost in a big class' feeling. She ensures that every client, is working at their own optimal pace and skill level, and Carolina is very conscious and engaged with the condition of your body and any injuries you may have. Highly recommend!

My experience at I Am Pilates has been amazing! Look forward to every session as it leaves me feeling strong and empowered. Carolina is an incredible instructor, always so patient and encouraging. The classes are always a different sequence, bringing new challenges week by week. I highly recommend trying a class/session at I Am Pilates :)

If I could give I Am Pilates more than 5 stars I would do it in a heartbeat. Carolina, the woman behind the brand, is incredible to say the least. Her sessions are nothing short of amazing. Always new and interesting, and always challenging. She helped me through two pregnancies and two post pregnancies and all kinds of injuries and I was continuously impressed with her knowledge and genuine desire to help. She's the best!
