Brentwood Kindergarten is a fun, happy and vibrant learning environment where children are able to explore and discover through play-based experiences. Founded in 1966, Brentwood Kindergarten continues to provide quality education to families within the community. At Brentwood Kindergarten, we understand the pivotal role that Early Childhood Educators play in laying the foundations for a love of learning, exploration and discovery.
Brentwood Kindergarten is fortunate to have a dedicated and talented education team who are highly experienced and qualified to provide children with an engaging and nurturing learning experience as part of our Three and Four Year-Old Kinder programs. All of our educators are required to hold a current Working With Children check, have had completed an approved First Aid Course, and have received specific training in Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
Brentwood Kindergarten is operated by a volunteer Committee of Management which consists of parents from within the Kinder community. The Committee meet on a monthly basis to discuss the needs of the Kinder, communicate with educators and plan for the future. The Committee of Management is also responsible for the day-to-day running of the Kindergarten, ensuring it is well managed and able to achieve the best possible outcomes for our children.
Brentwood Kindergarten is pleased to offer a Three Year-Old Pre-Kinder program. Please note, children cannot attend Pre-Kinder sessions until they have turned three years of age. As part of our Pre-Kinder program, our educators draw on a broad range of philosophies to help children develop their social, physical, creative and emotional skills within a safe and caring environment.
Brentwood Kindergarten offers two 15-hour government funded Four Year-Old Kinder programs, which are delivered by qualified Early Childhood Teachers and Educators. Our Four Year-Old Kinder program is tailored to meet the individual needs and development of every child and is respectful of gender and culture.
