My Way Personal Training
Personal training at My Way Personal Training is done in our boutique training studio either one on one or small group sessions. This productive and motivating setting provides you with a unique environment to help achieve your desired goals. My Way Personal Training is Harrington Park's independent personal training studio, not part of a chain of gyms but a long-standing caring member of the Macarthur community.

It would be hard to find a gym that provides the support and guidance found here. The dedicated and professional My Way personal trainers are here to walk your fitness journey with you while playing a support role so that a holistic approach is implemented. At My Way Personal Training, we focus our training on functional movements, replicating everyday motions to strengthen muscles being used on a daily basis.

Our weight loss programming helps you build muscle so that your metabolism is increased which promotes fat loss. Performing exercises that use large muscle groups contributes to building quality muscle and burning calories at a high rate. Your nutritional intake is also an important factor to lose weight and that is why we are here to educate and walk alongside you, during your weight loss journey.
Adrian Pentecost, owner of My Way Personal Training has a passion for helping people achieve their exercise goals. It is important to Adrian that each individual feels uniquely special as they reach their goals and progress in their fitness journey. Adrian enjoys walking alongside people helping improve their lifestyle both physically and mentally while providing his expertise to the exercise routines of his clients.
Personal Training is our main focus as we strive to keep our clients motivated in a variety of ways. It's important to have accountability in exercise and we know that personal training is one of the best ways to keep on track in an exercise routine. Our trainers walk the fitness journey with our clients providing encouragement, motivation and nutrition tips while delivering effective workouts specific to the goals desired.
We all have muscle imbalances in one way or another. It is important to identify these imbalances and apply exercises that will assist correction. This is done by strengthening the muscles that are weak, to get them activating the way they should, while also stretching the areas that are tight. Many people have back pain and sometimes this pain could be related to a muscle imbalance in a different area of the body.
We believe that it's important to measure success by tracking your results. We do this in two specific ways, using technology to both track both your workouts and results. Myzone Monitoring System: Our Myzone bands track your workouts so you can see how many calories burned, the rate you worked at and your heart rate percentage (colour zones).

I have been a member of My Way Personal Training for a few months now and wear the My Zone tracker to each workout. Tom recently noticed my heart rate staying very high during my whole workout even when resting between sets. He suggested I see my GP to ensure there were no issues - after an ECG, it turns out I have an irregular heart beat. Not a major issue but thanks to Tom's watchful eye and the My Zone tracker, it has helped me get ahead of things before it became a real problem. I joined My Way Personal Training over 5 years ago because I had a substantial amount of weight to lose. Now many kilograms lighter, the strongest and fittest I have ever been, I wouldn’t train anywhere else.
The team at My Way are all experienced and professional trainers who are supportive and encouraging in helping clients reach their goals. The friendly atmosphere and relationships between clients and trainers make My Way Personal Training a great place to work out. The equipment and facilities are excellent and the different classes suit different styles and interests.

I've been a member of My Way now for over 3 years. It's the first gym I've ever been to where I don't feel like just a number on the members list. The personal approach by Tom & Rena is what makes it such an enjoyable place to go. All the trainers are amazing and their mixed training styles mean you are always kept on your toes whether it's in a PT session or one of the classes on offer. Not to mention how they make every member feel welcome and never a burden no matter what fitness level we may be.

Just over 3 years ago, a tad over age 60, not very active and faced with a health issue I was thinking it may have been too late to make any sort of lifestyle change. A phone call to My Way quickly changed my thoughts and I've been a member ever since.
The training studio is a very warm, friendly and fun environment. The trainers are very professional, supportive and inspirational.
I love the combination of weekly PT session, personalised program and the range of group classes on offer.
The ability to track my exercise effort with the My Zone monitoring device both inside and outside the studio

I first joined MyWay to shed a few kilos that had caught up with me over the years. Not only was I successful in losing some weight but Tom at MyWay helped me train hard to achieve some fitness goals. I felt great! I was able to achieve some really amazing results. All the staff are well qualified and really friendly and encouraging. Over the last 4 years I have personally observed the success of many other clients. The gym itself is well equipped and also very private. I like that you have the choice to work out in the fresh air on the balcony or stay inside in the air-conditioning.

I joined My Way Personal Training last March and am thoroughly enjoying the experience. My one hour per week PT session is extremely beneficial and informative. The staff are very friendly, encouraging and professional in every way. I love the tranquil atmosphere of a small boutique gym. The equipment on offer is very good and the location in Harrington Park is convenient. I would definitely recommend My Way to anyone looking to improve their fitness and make friends with like-minded people.

I joined my way in July 2015 and have never looked back. I have been to many gyms before and being of a mature age love that I can train in a non intimidating, warm friendly environment. it is a place where you will achieve your goals with the expert advice of their highly skilled personal trainers and also make new and valued friendships along the way.

Not like any other gym that I have been to. All the trainers are awesome and always willing to help with training. Would highly recommend My Way to anyone wanting a personalised program and great results. Not to mention all the great people you get to meet there. :-)
