One of my favourite cafes. The food is up there with some of the best brunch spots in Melbourne.
A Middle Eastern twist on traditional brunches makes the food even better.
On top of that, portion sizes are generous and good value for money.
Coffee is also good. Very spacious with a large outdoor area as well. Pet friendly.

I'm not even sure what to say. This breakfast (Eastern Patties) was amazing, as were the staff. I don't know what they did with the tomato, but it was surprisingly delicious. The patties were the best part of the dish, eggs were done perfectly. Nothing was over or under seasoned. Hands down will return.

I'm blown away by how good this place is. I love a good cold brew and the cold brew here is the most unique I have ever had, I suspect they use the middle eastern coffee to brew and the orange slice adds a nice finish.
The homage to teta, is really well balanced, everything works well, and was the best zataar bread I have ever had.
My middle eastern patties was amazing. I enjoyed the patties with the stuffed zucchini and also being able to add the dukkah in from the side of the dish to add more spices. The grilled mushroom was cooked expertly and paired well with the rest of the dish.

What a stunning and unique cafe in the heart of South Yarra. Middle South East does modern Australian food with a Middle Eastern Twist. I was immediately greeted with a warm, welcoming environment. This is something that shouldn’t be taken for granted as it often is due to the passion and commitment of the amazing staff. In addition to this, we were able to make use of the outdoor seating due to the fabulous outdoor heaters. A cafe that is adaptable for all seasons in Melbourne, immediately gets a gold star in my books.
