Horrible.
$20 corkage per bottle is extortion- not expensive
The Manager lied about informing me of this and refused to budge. Paid $80 all up.
The service is terrible and they simply don''t care !
Save yourself from a waste of money and go somewhere else.

Three times your out!
Have attempted to order takeout three times with my order declined? Also taking 30min to 1 hr until informed of declined order? I always support my local restaurants, especially during Covid lockdowns. But seriously, why advertise as takeout on Menulog and Ubereats just to decline orders.

Caution: they are not honouring Liven 'Fooddollars'. One of our group members bought a package on Liven that was only recently advertised. This package was $388 for $776 worth of Fooddollars which can only be redeemed at this restaurant. Seemed like a good deal, so we ordered up to that amount. Turns out, the restaurant is no longer on Liven, so we couldn't use what was essentially a digital prepaid giftcard, and had to pay full price at the time. Very disappointed, as the whole point of prepaying for the package is to support restaurants during restrictions. Now we're out of pocket for this prepaid

WARNING!!! THEY WILL NOT HONOUR LIVEN PROMOTION.
Purchased a promotion discount for this restaurant, and on paying they said the Liven system was down and we couldn't use the discount.
It was a lie.
On contacting liven, we were told Tokyo Teppanyaki made the decision to pull themselves from the promotion thus dishonouring everyone who made this package purchase.
If you have this package, contact liven immediately for a refund and don't bother booking in and paying full price.
Wish I had seen the other review for Tokyo Teppanyaki from a fellow liven user before my dinner.
If you don't have

Is that why they call it "Black" Cod? 🤔 and no, it isn't the skin, it is chared to a crisp. Also no, as you can see, it's not ment to be like that as the other piece wasn't.
I do admit, I was expecting a bit more, esp for $188pp. Also having to wait an extra 30min because they either forgot to turn on the stove/hotplate or it wasn't working correctly and they didn't check. (this could have also been related to the burnt fish as the cooking surface wasn't even temperatures?). Felt kinda worse because the table next to us seemed like they were having a much better time, esp when our chef tried

We went for my daughters birthday tonight. We froze to death. The heating was not working as they have ‘landlord issues’ and we couldn’t get out fast enough. It’s not cheap to eat here and to freeze is crazy. I wore my overcoat throughout dinner and my parents were trembling by the end. All the owner offered was a Measly 5% discount on one of my worst dining experience ever. I would never go back and don’t go if you like a cosy place- you will freeze. It was warmer outside then inside.
**update, manager no longer there and owner called us and apologised and we came to an amicable agreement

The communications was poor. We arrived on time and were not greeted. After 10 minutes of no acknowledgement we walked to to bar, our booking was acknowledged but were asked to wait for a further 10+ minutes.
It felt that there may not have been a chef booked for our reservation.
It was roughly half hour before service commenced.
Once service started, the food was good but the experience did feel rushed, especially towards the end. We were then told that the kitchen closed and the Tokyo Teppanyaki birthday tradition wouldn't occur. For a 15 yr old, that is hard to accept, therefore we were asked
