Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) is a non-invasive treatment for superficial skin cancers (BCC and IEC), pre-cancer sunspots as well as acne and ageing skin. PDT is commonly performed in cosmetically sensitive parts of the body - including face, scalp, lower legs, as well as other areas. It offers excellent results in treating superficial skin cancers on the face, sunspots and marks on skin caused by sun damage or medical skin conditions, like acne.
An Australian First - Amtan Medical brings new Heart Health technology to General Practice. Make healthier choices, book a Heart Check Consultation with any of our General Practitioners. The device can be used by general practitioners to scan a patient's heart and view a picture of it on their smartphone or tablet.
We have onsite Allied Health Professionals who can provide advice and management on a wide range of health issues. For referrals, talk to your GP. Appointments may be booked with our friendly reception team. Consultations with Allied Health Professionals are Privately Billed unless otherwise advised.

This place has the most ridiculous booking system ever. Booked a telehealth consult for 1:50. Called after an hour of waiting and was told all patients in the waiting room take priority over my phone consult. Still waiting 3 hours later after calling clinic twice. Would love to see how the doctor would appreciate his dinner booking being cancelled for 3 hours and given to someone who turned up first

Good afternoon, I presented at Ormeau village today without an appointment, bleeding and needing Sutures , I was very impressed with the team , from the two Polite young girls behind the reception desk , to the most professional nurse Jemma ,think her name was , she went out of her way to see that I was comfortable and not in pain , very caring nurse top marks to her Jemma you are a 🌟 , Doctor Sue stitched me up quickly and was painless, thank you Ormeau village Amtan .

Booked for a full body skin check. New patient. Doctor did not introduce herself. I left and had to google her name. Full body Skin check took all of five minutes, one spot I was worried about was dismissed as dry skin. ( which it is not it's been there 12 months ) . Doctor was more worried about booking up further investigations. Not once did she… look directly at me . Receptionist rapidly booked me in for further tests and appointments , too fast to record I was told I would receive text message re future Appointments, this has not happened. I am suppose to have punch biopsy tomorrow no

My wife and I got our first shots at their Pimpama location today. I would highly recommend them to anyone. All their staff who served us were so friendly, kind & efficient at their jobs it was basically in and out. For someone suffering high anxiety they made the experience all the more comfortable and easier. Looking forward to our 2nd shot. Someone give them a raise. Thanks guy 😊👍🏽

I have been seeing 2 doctors at Amtan Medical Centre Norfolk and they have both been great. Very thorough, take the time to listen and make sure you understand before you leave their office. The nurses were very informative when giving my baby immunisations and the receptionists out the front are professional and understanding when needing an appointment. I highly recommend this doctors surgery! Every time I have been I have not waited more than 10 minutes.

Possibly the worst doctors we have ever been too. The receptionists are nice but the wait times are minimum 30 mins from your scheduled appointment time.
Don’t mind waiting sometimes, but the doctors are the least compassionate doctors I’ve ever seen and seem to just be there to get paid. Both me and my partner have been here a few times now, tried a few different doctors and every single time we have walked out so disappointed with their lack of care and advice (if any). If anyone ever asks, we now recommend they don’t go here and if they do - make sure you get a second opinion elsewhere

Always, always, always running SO late! This has been my Dr's practice for years as it's the closest to home & they have never once run on time. Usual wait times (even though you have a pre-booked appointment) are anywhere from 30 mins - 1 hour! I don't know how they are just constantly running SO late! Think it's time for you to re-do your booking/scheduling system.

I have been coming to this clinic for the last 8 years and have found Dr VJ to be wonderful, yes you can wait sometimes but that's a sign of a very good doctor, one who takes the time to listen and respond. On times when I have had to see a different doctor I have found all of them to be wonderful and very caring. Also Nat and Jordan at the front desk are super friendly and always make you feel welcome. I would recommend this practice to anyone who asks.

Every doctor here is absolutely amazing. I have been coming here for many years. I would highly recommend them all. They are thorough and caring. Just what you need. The administration staff on front desk also go above and beyond, they are absolutely beautiful souls. They will bend over backwards to fit you in for an appointment and assist with any paperwork. Dr Fonseka is a wonderful doctor. She really gives the feeling that she cares and wants to help you. She took the time to help me, and made sure I was comfortable with the treatment she recommended. I really recommend her.
Nice practice, always clean and tidy. The reception are very friendly and helpful too. The nurses are wonderful also.
