We offer clean and comfortable, self-contained apartments that are popular with families, business and leisure travellers. Cairns is a beautiful place and we feel a responsibility to protect it for future generations. On a practical level, this means we use products and services that are locally-produced in sustainable ways and reduce waste, whenever possible.
Guests love our fully equipped, spacious apartments and the convenience of having their own kitchens. City Terraces has 19 one-bedroom apartments and 15 two-bedroom apartments. All guests are welcome to enjoy our beautiful swimming pool, barbecue area, gardens and lobby facilities. Our one-bedroom apartments are ideal for up to 3 guests.
Generally 10 am but we always try to accommodate your needs and will allow late check outs if possible. For guests in one-bedroom apartments, coin-operated washing machines and dryers are in the laundry room next to the pool. Clothes racks are also provided on balconies. Trips to the rainforest and Great Barrier Reef are just two of the many natural and cultural trips on offer.

Our hosts -- and friends -- Bill and Lyn -- were just terrific. Everything was clean, tidy and comfortable. The rooms and bed were also spacious, and Bill and Lyn gave us heaps of great advice on where to go, what to see, where to go for good food, shopping, sightseeing, and having great experiences. They truly made us feel at home and relaxed. We definitely plan to go again and recommend City Terraces for anyone planning a holiday in Cairns, and/or visiting the Atherton Tablelands, or the incomparable tropical rainforest. THANKS guys! You wont regret it!! We stayed with Will and Lyn for a week. They were the most terrific hosts, they did an amazing job booking and planning all our day trips. They were always friendly and smiling! The accommodation itself is great, very clean, spacious and comfortable. Have been recommending it to all our friends. We will return when ever in Cairns again.

We really enjoyed our short stay here. The booking arrangements were very flexible to meet our needs and all arranged via personal emails with the resident manager. Thank you Will. The apartment was spacious, very clean and had everything required for a short stopover. Excellent eco philosophy which included a shelf in the foyer to share or use unwanted items from other travellers. Pool was fab and a welcome respite from the heat of the day. Good quality pool towels were provided in the apartment. Some noise experienced from the airplanes but it wouldn’t stop us from highly recommending this
