* The menu has changed. Each item had a price raise between $2-$3. I have attached photos of new menu for reference
I went on weekday 2pm. Very quiet and clean.
I had “braised pork rib soup”. The taste is ok. Mostly pork belly and some tribe, only two small pieces of rib. I thought the large size is for sharing. So I had small. It was indeed small. Probably a starter size in many other Asian restaurants. I don’t eat a lot anyway. So that wasn’t a big problem for me. But for an average person, you probably need to order a large.

I came here super late at night with my best mate and my gf.
The FOH was severely understaffed as the restaurant was at least half full, had 2 big groups and a bunch of other small groups, despite this the one and only FOH staff who was taking all the orders, delivering all the food, taking all payments and even sorting out ubereats and menulog deliveries was just so nice and attentive.
Food came out quickly; everything was delicious and super hot. The Roti was crispy, fluffy, and chewy. The Satay chicken was juicy and well seasoned.
We had a really disappointing experience at a restaurant prior

A nice and cosy setting. I had the wat tan hor and it was just meeting the standard - nothing remarkable. I sampled my friend's assam laksa, though - which she loved - and found it to be quite good. Another friend had prawn mee and she also found her food to be just ok. I ordered the chendol and also a little lacklustre. Despite that, I'd come back and try at least the assam laksa fully for myself and hopefully other dishes (if got 'kaki', or gang) as somehow I think this place has promise.

This has been on my to try list since it opened and for a 4+ star venue I had high expectations. I had the Penang char keoy teow and nasi lemak, two of their most popular dishes. The noodles itself were soft and tasted like it had been microwaved (was there at 8pm so perhaps noodles weren't freshly prepared), flavour is not quite Penang style (IMO). For a good CKT there needs to be a "wok hei" which comes from high heat stir fry, and sadly it missed the mark, sauce used to stir fry is missing something and they use chilli powder rather than fresh cut chilli - as a native I don't rate this dish
