At Fit For Change Personal Training in the Northern Illawarra, we offer a timetable of group fitness classes from Monday to Saturday. Fit for Change classes are designed for all fitness levels & abilities and are ideal for women & men who enjoy the motivation of training with others.

Our experienced and motivated Fit for Change trainers include Alyssa Yeo and Kerry Greenfield and we run a variety of classes including boxing, HIIT, circuit, glutes and core, strength training and running sessions.Bub number 3 was initially my excuse not to exercise, but now he's as much a part of the group as I am! Best of all, Alyssa has created an incredibly supportive, fun exercise community that keeps me coming back each week.
Services
Alyssa has always had an interest in living a healthy lifestyle and carved out her early career as a professional dancer. After a stint working overseas, Alyssa moved back to Sydney in 2012 to pursue her goal of becoming a personal trainer.

She landed a job at the YMCA and was given the opportunity to work with many diverse groups including mums, older adults and children She also managed a program to support people with mental health disorders through physical exercise.A move to the Illawarra in 2015 enabled Alyssa to follow her passion and open Fit for Change Personal Training in Russell Vale to help busy parents find time to stay fit and healthy.
Our Circuit class is going back to basics with simple circuit style training to raise your heart rate and pump your muscles in a full body workout. The class varies every week and focuses on functional movements that target multiple muscles and joints at once to give your body the ultimate workout!
Fit for Change's 'Glutes and Core' class is a full body workout where trainer, Alyssa focuses on core and glute strength and stability. With strong glutes and core, you will see improved performance in other areas of your fitness training, as well as avoiding pain and injury particularly of the lower back.
Training for a fun run, something more serious or just wanting to improve your cardiovascular fitness? Come and try Fit for Change's running class with Alyssa. Combining a mixture of distance, intervals, hills and sand running, our running sessions will help you build distance and speed for any running goal and is suitable for beginners through to more experienced runners.
Fit for Change's Xfit sessions are a metabolic conditioning workout and use a mixture of specific intervals and rest periods to improve overall strength and fitness. Alyssa's Xfit class will help to maximise your training performance and increase the caloric burn for hours after you finish exercising!

I love training with Fit for Change. Alyssa and her team set challenging and varied sessions that keep me motivated and feeling strong and fit. Alyssa is a great leader and knows our capabilities and how to push us to achieve our goals. I recently completed her Winter Challenge which was the exact reset I needed over the colder months. A complete nutrition plan, encouragement to attend group sessions and team check-ins all helped to keep me on track, lose weight and get stronger over the 9 week period. Having been recommended to try Fit for change initially, I can safely say Iā€™m happy to have made the change. I love the variety of classes on offer that allows me to continuously challenge myself. I love the lovely community of people who help keep you motivated and accountable! Fit For Change stands by what it is called! Alyssa and her team of dynamic trainers are very passionate about what they do. Every session is so well planned and covers all levels of fitness.
The early morning fitness sessions down Thirroul Beach are the BEST. There is a super friendly group of people to train with and a beautiful view to start the day.
Alyssa and her team have a strong sense of care towards their clients, ensuring techniques are correct to avoid injuries.
I love the outdoor training (even through winter) and would highly recommend Alyssa and her team to anyone looking to improve

Alyssa is the best personal trainer I have ever worked with. Her genuine, and intuitive nature is what helps shape each PT session, making sure that she creates a training session that suits your specific needs. An added bonus is Alyssa's knowledge on food and nutrition, making her a whole package when it comes to heath and fitness!

I love Alyssa's style of training, her positive attitude and her constant encouragement! She helps get the best out of me everytime! My husband and I have been training with Alyssa at Fit For Change Personal Training for the last 6 months and I really can't recommend her highly enough. She's is the best trainer I've worked with, and I've worked with quite a few!
Somehow she manages to mix every session up so it's never boring, and the time flies which is always a plus when you're being put through your paces!

I have been working with Alyssa for the last 4 months. I look forward to being pushed every session and I am loving the results I am seeing in my body, fitness and overall wellbeing! 6 weeks into training with Alyssa I dropped 5 minutes of my 5km run time!
Alyssa is personable, professional and highly motivating - her gym setup is comfortable and non confronting compared to big gyms. I recommend Alyssa to anyone looking for a PT!
