Located on the Esplanade and close to CBD and public transport is this great place.
We stayed on the 28th floor with seafront , City and some river veiw.
All three bedrooms, kitchen and dining area had sliding doors out to balcony with great ventilation. A spa was a bonus.
We were well looked after and given complementary wine and chocolates plus the top room when there was a little hiccup.
Would love to visit again.

Booked Focus Apartments through Booking.com. When I booked I was not made aware that it was a private rental (or through a different management company). First issue was out of the 2 keys we collected, only one worked in the door. Second issue was there was a panel of glass missing next to the air con in one of the rooms. Bring on the 28th floor, this made the room very cold and breezy at night and room was unbearable. Third issue was that we thought we booked a 4 bedroom apartment but we got 3 rooms and 2 trundle beds in a cornered off section of the Lounge room. Lastly, when we contacted management

If you book here - I hope you don't get room 111! Not terribly clean - plus in one of the rooms there was a breeze, despite no fans being on and windows and door being closed. On further inspection, there was a pane of glass missing next to the heater.
When this was raised with the company, we were told one of us must have done it and gotten rid of the glass.
Communication with the property was unprofessional and putting the blame on us, despite it being like that when we arrived.
Would not recommend to anyone.

I think that Focus Resort would be lovely but when I booked the 3 bedroom apartment I did not know that it was privately owned. My money was taken out of my account 2 days before cancellation day without my knowledge.and they cancelled by booking due to me asking to many questions. I contacted booking.com they were very helpful and tried to help the best they could. The owners of the property were not easy to contact. There was no receipt for the amount of money that was taken. I had to prove that the money was taken out of my account. For the next 4 weeks the owners did not reply to any emails

Thank you Focus Apartments! From booking to arriving the Reception staff are wonderful and very friendly. Large (3br) beautiful spacious apartment, nice clean (2) bathrooms, easy laundry, fully equipped kitchen, awesome views and great location to town. Family just walked across the street to Lifeguard flags right there while the rest of us sat and watched them from our balcony (Lvl3). Look forward to coming back definitely!
