To find a registered yoga therapist or yoga teacher please go the Yoga Australia website, there you will find yoga practitioners who have met the requirements for registration with the governing body in Australia. The requirements for registration with Yoga Australia are more stringent than the requirements for other international yoga organisations.
The practices we will use incorporate breath awareness, movement and relaxation. Throughout the session you will be reminded to focus on your breathing and sometimes to use your breath to help with movement. Caring for your body is of utmost importance. You will be shown how to set yourself up in a relaxing pose.
I wanted to thank you for a lovely introduction to Yoga and for helping me to fulfil my 2014 News Year's resolution which was to give Yoga a try. I am glad I did, as I feel it has really done me good and I intend to continue next year. I so much enjoyed practising yoga with you.

I enjoy assisting people through yoga therapy, with a focus on breathing, alignment and yoga nidra. I am in my 60's and I enjoy with working people who are heading towards my age group, to help them stay fit and healthy. I got serious about yoga in my early 40's and I believe that is a great time to start!
