Appalling experience. When you pay $41 for an eye fillet in a pub, you expect it to be reasonable. Waited an inordinate time to order whilst they mucked around with tablets and worked out what to do about a customer that skipped their bill. Order drinks - wine came with ice in it - not asked for. Sent it back, got a replacement by collecting it ourselves after being sick of waiting for it. Meat should have been medium - still bleeding in the middle. First serving potatoes were cold until redelivered after microwave. Granted we didn't pay for the steak or the wine but that's not the point, but then

Long time customer of the Gladstone park hotel, I spend most of my time in the gaming room and just wanted to say how lovely the staff are, the main gaming room staff of Donna, Maryanne & Tracey are wonderful, the manager Rhi is a lovely young lady who always comes up to have a chat with me, the sercuity guards Nick, Ricky and Omar are so good always make me feel safe and welcome. You have a wonderful team of staff who make coming to the Gladstone park hotel a great experience.

Ok so just been for dinner with the family and my well done steak was rare in the middle.
I can handle a little pink but that chef is just taking the Mickey out of me.
Apologies to the waitress and I was calm but in future the appropriate action is sorry Sir we will cook another, not um and arh and say we can recook the steak that was served.
It's a real pity as we live in Westmeadows but I will stick with the Westmeadows Tavern from now on.

Reading through your reviews and I can see that myself and my family are not the only ones to have experienced the lack of customer service at your venue. We have lived locally and have called your venue our favourite place to go when we don’t want to eat at home, but the way your staff especially your manager treated us was absolutely appalling and completely disrespectful. I have never been so embarrassed to have my family in a public place. I really think you should go through some customer service training again because clearly during lockdown your staff have forgotten how to treat people

Had a booking for lunch here today as i was in the area to meet up with some people.
I was pleasantly surprised, it was clean ,service at the table was a positive and the meals were nice. Some had seniors meals and they were of a good size and well priced.
Would recommend to book ahead as it was reasonably busy.
