Sam's unique approach brings clients an awareness of Pilates techniques and strength training regardless of their age or physical condition. A world travelling circus arts performer becomes an outdoor adventure guide in tropical far north Queensland and a Pilates dream is born. From her first days in Jamaica, her high school years in Canada, and her time being a G.O. at Club Med, Samantha has made the most of her drive and passion to get people moving.
Pilates is based on putting yourself into unstable postures and challenging your body by moving your limbs. It improves muscle endurance, promotes better co-ordination and balance and your posture, flexibility and balance. Pilates is practiced by rugby players and ballerinas, MotoGP riders and swimmers, men, women and children, at all ages and stages of life.
Everyone (no matter where they live) deserves to feel motivated, inspired and energised, amazing and strong from the inside out. Start Moves is a specialised Pilates program delivered online - so you get strong, increase your endurance and improve your agility, anytime and anywhere.

From absolute beginner, those returning to Pilates or regular attendees who want an easy way to keep in form, Start Moves delivers flexibility when you work out and in your work out.

I see Sam twice a week for Reformer Pilates and mat Pilates. I have never enjoyed Pilates so much. Sam is a great instructor and considers any concerns you may have. Can adapt movements if you have an injury. Very knowledgeable. Sam has a warm, friendly, approachable manner. Boxilates is also offered which is a great fun workout.

Sam is such an amazing Pilates instructor!! The equipment in this studio is something you would see in 5 star Brisbane Studio. I can tell you Sam has had to work on rebuilding my body after going to gyms & causing injuries. Sam really knows her stuff & has many years of expertise in pilates, its not just a pasting lastest trend to her.

As a mobile massage therapist I would get very sore back & shoulders from carrying my table. Since starting Pilates with Sam, I have found pain & discomfort in my shoulders a thing of the past!! Thanks a million Sam.
