Q: What's the difference between a Self-Catering Resort (like Narrowneck Court) and a Hotel (like the Marriott)? Hotel Rooms: Hotels are usually smaller as you have most meals in the Hotel itself or elsewhere - basically a place to sleep. If you're looking for somewhere on the Gold Coast without all the noise, hustle & bustle of Surfers, then Narrowneck is place for you.
Literally minutes from all the action of Surfers but the perfect little sanctuary to head back to at the end of the day.
Lovely bright, open plan apartments with ocean front views & breezes.
The manager Ben, couldn't have been any more accommodating with all the last minute requests I asked him.
Which was extra creditable considering it was Valentine's Day & the Chinese New Year, that weekend.
Totally oblivious to the festivities of that weekend, I was devastated

I reluctantly write this review, because the honest truth is that this is a wonderful place to base yourself on the Gold Coast, and if everyone finds out about this place, it will be booked out all the time. Have been coming here over many years, and each time we come back the apartments just get better. The owners and managers do a great job of keeping the apartments well maintained, and updated. The views down the coast and out the the sea are magnificent. Will keep coming back.

This place is perfect. A fantastic location with lots of eatery's and shops within easy walking distance but further enough out of the main Surfers area to be really quiet and not too busy. Right across the road from the beach. We had a room with a view as it was several levels up and it was amazing, we even saw whales! Our room was large and immaculately clean and maintained and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Narrowneck Court and I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Totally awesome accommodation. The location was perfect, the two bedroom apartment we had was so lovely and the view was stunning. And totally affordable! Really really reasonably priced. We have payed so much more for so much less. Thanks to our hosts. Absolutely lovely laid back folks. So accommodating and friendly. And of course their little dog Coco. So adorable and enthusiastic. Loves a scratch and a cuddle. Overall one of the best hotel experiences we have had.

What more can you possibly ask for.....lovely staff, beautiful apartment, quiet location ideally located across the road from the beach and lake, stunning views, so well maintained and spotlessly clean, relaxed and welcoming environment, so well priced and wonderful facilities. Ben and the team were friendly and accommodating. Excellent location in between Cavil ave and the main beach strip. Quiet and away from the noise yet walking distance to everything. Apartment was very spacious with modern refurbishment. 100% recommend for others and we will be back as soon as we can to stay again.

Excellent location from beach and away from main drag noise. 15-20 min walk to main shops in Surfers. Our unit 12 could do with an upgrade, as older and not as clean as it should be. Other units there I saw had just been revamped, which would be better. They are privately owned, so the managers can only recommend them to revamp. Managers were VERY friendly and helpful at all times. We stayed 7 nights and overall were not disappointed.
