A Pilates Reformer Studio offering small group and private classes in a beautiful beachfront boutique studio. Classes include Pilates Reformer, Matwork Pilates and Barre. All classes are taught by highly qualified, professional and experienced instructors. We cater for all fitness levels with a focus on increasing strength, flexibility and functional fitness whilst developing a better mind body connection.

We want to change the misconception that pilates is easy. At BR we deliver body changing experiences and it should be respected as one of the hardest most challenging forms of exercise. A studio that is your space, a place you come to get away from the outside world and work on you, somewhere you can be yourself, but be your best self!

I grew up as an active teenager, loving all sports in my home town of Melbourne. I was introduced to the fitness industry during my Year 10 work experience block at school. I remember thinking how great it would be to have a job that kept you fit and healthy, one that you were passionate about and was forever transforming.
Pilates for Back Pain Pilates really hits your core muscle, which Joseph Pilates once referred to as our 'powerhouse'. We strengthen from the core which supports the lower back, abdomen, hip and pelvic muscles. Not only is a strong core essential for exercises but for everyday tasks such as carry heavy items and picking up your shopping.
Pilates helps you to gain a better mind body connection, by forcing you focus on your body, movements, Tzone activation, breath patterns, each class delivers a form of mindfulness which will leave you refreshed and clear headed. It is with focus and concentration that you are more likely to benefit from your class.
Pilates works toward a safe increase in length and stretch of the muscles and the range of motion within the joints. Just as Pilates aims to build a level of muscular strength that will enhance and complement your everyday life and activities, so do does it aim to create a body that can stretch and bend to meet the flow of daily life.
Pilates is a great tool to assist or even enhance a physiotherapy program when someone is recovering from an injury. By strengthening the deepest muscles of the core, optimizing alignment, and creating correct movement patterns, we can also help to prevent reaggravation of those injuries and the development of new ones.

Did my 4 th class tonight have been seeing reformer Pilates around and wanted to try it so glad I did . So far have done classes with Liza and Kylie who have been fantastic and also had the pleasure of meeting Suzanne in my class Monday who helped me out even though it was her time of working out . Thank ladies for great work outs loving it and am enjoying my weekly classes .

I cannot recommend this studio enough. Liza and Suzanna have done an amazing job at building a welcoming studio, with fantastic classes and great teachers to support you. I always look forward to going to Pilates, and after my workout I feel like I have worked really hard and safely! These girls are so knowledgeable and so caring of every single client, they make the classes challenging and also fun! Body Reformers was a change for me, from going to a traditional gym and lifting weights, and I definitely feel much stronger than I have ever done before!

I came into my first class without any experience in Pilates of any sort. The instructors were so welcoming and nurturing I felt supported in my learning each and every lesson. 2 1/2 years later I have not looked back.
I am thankful I found Body Reformers. It is my favourite ‘me’ time of the week.

I love Body Reformers!
I've suffered from 3 bulging discs in my lower back for over 10 years. The small group exercise class led by instructors who constantly observe your technique has ensured that I haven't hurt myself & the encouragement has made me work to develop strength & the stretch helps me walk tall!!
Also, the music is great 😃

WE have been going to Pilates for about 3 years now and have noticed a significant difference in our core strength. The classes are sometimes hard, we have fun, sometimes we laugh in-between our breathing and the instructors are great. Even without you realising it you practicing mindfulness as you are concentrating on your breathing and your technique. A simple exercise make look easy and you thinks how can this be working my muscles but trust me the next day your body will tell you otherwise. A must not just for Woman but Men to to improve their core.
Don't be fooled Gents, give it a whirl.

Started at Body Reformers a few months ago and absolutely love it!! The workouts are amazing and I already feel the change in my body.

Before I started at body reformers I had not done any exercise for 10 years, I was overweight with a sore knee and lower back and had 2 emergency C-section‘s so no core strength whatsoever, One year on I am feeling better than ever, I’m a cleaner I’m now able to lift heavy things, stand up on the ladders without getting vertigo, able to work much bigger hours, mentally feeling a lot better in myself and my anxiety has eased massively, I feel strong I see muscles in my body that I’ve never seen before, The instructors at body reformers are professional it’s like being with a PT but in

The best Pilates studio ever! I have been going to Body Reformers for four years now and cannot recommend enough. Liza and Suzanna have created a fantastic space offering all levels of Pilates and Barre. The quality of their classes is exceptional and they are continually pushing you to achieve the best you can. The classes are always varied and they are continually introducing new moves and ways to make things better. For someone who isn’t that into exercise, this is the only exercise and space I have stuck to religiously. Thanks to the wonderful BR ladies.

Having lots of injuries, was sceptical about pilaties, however the instructors at Body Reformers are awesome. Provide me with alternative positions without making feel like an outcast. Feel very welcome and part of the group. I enjoy every class. Body Reformers is the best place for pilaties.

Body Reformers has made me actually enjoy exercising, and for me, i didn't think it was possible. The instructors are all incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable.
The classes are fun and challenging but the instructors help simplify and modify exercises which I may be finding tricky. Beautiful studio with gorgeous water views!

Love this Pilates studio. Small classes and awesome trainers. I have a few issues with my neck and lower back so I can't always do every exercise but these awesome ladies are always quick to offer alternate exercises to suit my abilities. Always get a great workout and always feel welcome and encouraged. Highly recommend.

Fantastic instructors who truly understand how the body works. Have the knowledge to work around injury so you are able to still participate without aggravating the injury or causing pain. Great variety of classes and times. Give it a try... it's so good.

I tried a Reformer lesson at BR and was hooked... that was 2 years ago and am still going strong. The instructors are top class... personable, experienced, supportive. The range of classes they offer suit people of all ages from teenagers to the “mature” adult.
