After almost 30 years teaching Pilates, Vanessa will be retiring at the end of 2021. Vanessa opened Pilates in Parramatta in 1996; working with General Toning and Fitness, Sports Specific, Rehabilitation, Pregnancy and Dance clients. Over the years, Vanessa has instructed the young and the elderly. Vanessa started the Ulysses Pilates Training courses to help others become qualified in this marvellous form of exercise.

Nobody really knows about the benefits of Pilates until you give it a fair go! People say it's too slow for them, this is not giving yourself a chance to actually FEEL and SEE the physical benefits of Pilates. Pilates in Parramatta is the only place I recommend for Pilates because it is more of a one on one basis. Each person is looked at individually throughout their own program and is corrected as required. Each person is also progressively advanced according to their strengths, as visible to the teacher. I have come and gone from PIP for many years and the comment is always made about how different

I've been going to this Pilates Studio for about 3.5yrs, when I joined I was in pain all over, & my body shape was really unbalanced, My legs were shaped differently from using different muscles to walk because of pain, different height hips & shoulders, I leaned backwards to stand, & stood with chin jutting out. I now stand straight upright, with similar shaped legs, hips that sit even, shoulders that both sit even & in there proper lower positions, & am almost always keeping my chin in now. I now have a healed upper back, neck & ribs, the pain in my lower back, shoulders & wrists is massively
