I have eaten here a few times and the food, wine and staff are fantastic. We chose the feed me option on the menu this time. Chef is to be commended. The food was so delicious. Loved every dish. Will be back again.

I have visited this cellar door a handful of times, husband and wife team offering a handful of really nice wines and a beautiful garden area to enjoy them together with tasting platters comprising some expertly selected cheeses, small goods and other locally sourced items. Really a wonderful place to sit around with friends and loved ones... Highly recommended.

Visited for lunch. Disappointing experience. Rude staff and despite the assurance that children were welcome, they really were not. Definitely would recommend visiting one of the other many wineries in the Adelaide Hills region

Brilliant afternoon hosted by lovely people.
We had the privilege of a long lunch with great friends at Lobethal Road Wines over the Easter break.
Amazing food and wine to enjoy, and somewhere we would happily take interstate guests.
One of the best places the Adelaide Hills has to offer.

We had a brilliant lunch at Lobethal Rd winery on Easter Sunday. Such an unpretentious winery experience, with really lovely and thoughtful service, delicious food, brilliant wines. The outdoor dining area is rare for its unembellished natural beauty. No mega bucks thrown at it like other mega places, just lots of obvious love and care. A must visit if you’re in the hills.

Part #2
With the kitchen back open after the covid interruption, we headed back to LR to sample lunch.
On offering was a small fusion style menu that was packed with flavour. The Pork & Prawn sugar skewers were fantastic.
Also got to finally sample the Maja blanc de blanc. Light, elegant and fine beaded, this non-oaked sparkling was worth the wait.
Part #1
A bottle of Rosè & Chardonnay, a selection of meats, a chesse board and an opportunity to sit soaked in spring sunshine captured our perfect Sunday.
Completely unpretentious and filled with hills hospitality, owners Inga & Dave's warm welcome

Lovely outdoor dining space. The food was delicious and they specially made me a yummy gluten free dessert. Prompt service and wait staff were very attentive. I would definitely go again. I don't drink so couldn't comment on the wines except to say my friends enjoyed them.

Nice location off the main road. $10 per tasting which did not contribute to the final bill unlike other wineries. No explanation of the wines, just put on the table for guests to work out. Fortunate to have had nice weather to sit outside. Bert the dog is super friendly.

Cozy little cellar door with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Enjoyed my conversation and wine discussion, great to learn more about the brand, as I feel that this is a best kept secret which should be on the radar more. The cellar door experience is a bit more low key than others I've experienced but nonetheless I enjoyed it. Stopover on your drive through the area.

It’s not very often that I go to a cellar door and enjoy every bottle on the tasting menu. We bought 1 of each!! The owners were really lovely and the space was very quaint! Bertie the house dog was fun!! Highly recommend and will be back and May join their VSP club.
