Every member of our team, across all departments, plays a vital role in the quality and health of our patients. Each of them understands the importance of this process to you, whether simply collecting blood samples or sharing the joy of a phone-call to confirm your appointment. Through working exclusively in the field of health care, our staff have gained much experience and wisdom.

While staying at the forefront of technology and technique through ongoing investment in research and development, our staff also undergo regular training to stay current with the world's best practice in all areas of the medical field. Dr. Mai graduated from Sydney University in 1992 and has been working in general practice for about 20 years.
Services
Our process includes a consultative approach of working with you to ensure you get the best treatment and health plan. We strongly encourage regular health checkups and screening for medical conditions that may otherwise become chronic, as early detection and treatment often results in better health outcomes.
Square Medical Centre is an accredited general practice by the Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL). This means our practice meets strict nationally recognised standards that are continuously working towards delivering better health for you, your family and your community. All our instruments are sterilised and single-use only to ensure you are safe from infection.

We aim to support families and communities as they determine and lead their own solutions to achieve positive change.

Just want to compliment both the receptionist & Dr. Galina. I went on a public holiday and I needed an immediate prescription. The centre was open and they provided such loving service. They were both so pleasant, helpful, and understanding. God bless you both :)

My husband and I have been going to this practice for years. They cancelled our Telehealth appointments on us because we hadn’t seen a dr here in 12 months. At no time did they ask if we were under a public health order (isolation or have covid) which makes your eligible for a Telehealth appointment to see any GP regardless of the 12 month rule. Extremely disappointed, we even had to research the Medicare rules ourselves that showed we were eligible! The medical centre didn’t even ask us, just called to cancel the appointment.

5/21 I'm a regular patient here, I highly recommend the practice. Dr Galina is my primary GP & also have seen other GPs, had my blood work taken, seen the dietician. I get such great service from this practice. Bulk bills and telehealth is easy to organise. Dr Galina has helped me so much. thank you!
Update 12/21: the front office staff / reception are always cheerful & helpful. They do a lot of extra admin work esp since Covid hit and they've helped me multiple times. Thanks Jess, Jennifer & Isabelle

Staff laying down the health systems practiced nationwide can be tiresome for some. seen doctors who were friendly and some who pushed their way around only to my benefit (got taken back at times but followed through to a quick recovery).it has a good blend of I feel for you and you need to get this done for a quick recovery kind of doctors. Good to leave all google advice out the door when you get there ( google doesn’t take your test samples and have to listen to how your last 4 weeks of unhealthy choices got you sick in the first place ) and wear your masks ( you could infect others around

The receptionist does not have any sympathy on patient’s situation, poor professionalism and job knowledge, very rude phone etiquette. Get a proper staff to work for your front of house who can do the job properly!! She mixed up my paperwork with others, and did not accept her mistake, no apologies either.
Will never come to this medical center again!

Never thought I would have to read reviews for a GP before seeing one, but having had this experience will never go to a GP again without checking first. So thank you to all of the people on here who wrote one.
Will never go to this medical centre again. Doctor had zero empathy. Offered no suggestions or education for what was a very sensitive issue and made it all about money, and I ended up offering to pay for the tests I felt I needed. Terrible receptionist, extremely rude, unprofessional and disrespectful ! If you ever attend you will understand it’s full of bad energy and reviews reflect this opinion and my personal experiences (I have been here many many times over the years due to location only)
Terrible Doctors, I live in the tower above world square and have lived here for 10+ years with my family and every single experience is just disgusting and it really always feels like a Medicare money grab. Get the patient in and out as fast as you can!
They have ZERO empathy, I’d be surprised if they understood the word.

Disgusting experience. Booked 2 weeks in advance for an AstraZeneca vaccine via telephone, was told is all booked in and ready to go for both my partner & I. Arrive on the day, the receptionist advises she has no bookings and they're out of vaccines anyway. Extremely unhelpful, did not even try and clarify the spelling of our names, just gave us a blank stare. We walked out, will not be back. Other such low reviews online for whats meant to be a healthcare provider is pretty telling - but very surprising considering this is peoples health we're talking about.

Dr Elsa Lui is fantastic, she really cares and takes her time to go through the symptoms. The reception area was super busy today but the receptionist in the grey jumper remained calm and positive at all times greeting patients in person and on the phone in such a great manner. I recommend rewarding these staff members. Much better than previous experience. The only down side is the wait time is normally 20 minutes after your appointment but worth the wait for Dr and normal from experience

Typical conveyor belt, little customer service and general disinterest you would expect from a CBD based medical centre whose key focus seems to be get as many in and out as fast as possible. I went for a test and they said they would text or call me in 2-3 days when the results came in. I waited over two weeks. I eventually got fed up so I called myself. The lady said you’re results are here but we didn’t call you. I asked why and she said they usually wait until the paper version is sent, not just the electronic copy. I asked why I was told 2-3 days and she couldn’t answer. I was sick so
