Sadhana Yoga Therapy & Ayurveda
Learning through regular practice is the key principle at Sadhana Yoga Therapy and Ayurveda. A yoga practice is just THAT! We practice yoga to keep it with us when we leave the yoga room, so that the reason for the loss of the calm breath, relaxed skin and clear mind can be known. It is through this knowledge that positive change is realised.

Damien began his yoga training more than 10 years ago. He is a registered yoga teacher, having completed his 3-year yoga teaching apprenticeship at the Central Coast School of Yoga. You can learn more about his yoga training lineage here. Sadhana also provides workshops on Nutrition and Yoga. Information about these workshops will be available through this website and our Facebook page.

Beginners Beginners classes are available as a 6-week course. This Beginners Course must be completed before attending any other classes at Sadhana. Please call to enquire or check our Facebook page to find when the next Beginners course is available. Worrier to Warrior - This is a continuing Yoga course for students who have completed the 6 week Beginners Course.
A one-on-one Ayurvedic Consultation is essential to identify the underlying cause/s of the issues affecting your health. This initial consultation provides the necessary information from which an effective treatment plan can be implemented to meet your specific needs. This treatment plan will include estimated costs, timeframe, treatments and possible outcome/s.
As Ayurveda becomes more mainstream many people through curiosity do an online Dosha quiz, which can cause more confusion than clarity. Firstly, lets address what is meant by this word Dosha, meaning (to spoil, ruin). It is made up of 2 of the 5 elements that are the forces of the universe: Fire, Water, Air, Space and Earth.
As part of your Ayurvedic Health Consultation, you will be provided with nutrition advice. This information will address issues relating to digestive imbalance. Advice given will be customised to your specific health needs and will provide guidelines for how to eat for your dosha. Once you integrate these guidelines into your daily life, it will be difficult to go back to your previous dietary habits.

Damien is a great teacher. He gives information about the history of yoga, which is very interesting. He helps students build strength and muscle memory by building up from a base of stability.

Damo is a great teacher and has helped me understand the basics of yoga to help me understand it and make me more confident in my approach to yoga
