Meditation has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up meditating with my parents from childhood. However it wasn't until quite a few years later, experiencing "burn out", running a creative business and living in London that I began Vedic Meditation. When I started practising VM I knew I was home.
Vedic Meditation is a simple, effortless and ancient technique that stems from the 5000-year-old body of wisdom know as the Veda. A personal mantra or sound is used that silently allows the mind to settle down to quieter and more subtle states. This settling of the mind triggers profound levels of rest in the body allowing stress to unwind and the body to heal.
The benefits will begin from your first meditation and are cumulative over time. Most people report feeling calmer, having greater physical energy and mental clarity in the first week they start meditating. Others notice the benefits unfold more gradually over time. Everyone is at a different starting point in terms of stress and fatigue when they learn to meditate so while the benefits begin immediately how quickly one notices them will vary.

Free group meditations are held every Tuesday at 6:30pm on Zoom. These sessions are designed to support you in your practice. Meditating in a group is a powerful experience. Group meditation is a great opportunity to dive deep, refine your technique and get to know like-minded meditators. We start with a 20-minute meditation followed by questions, answers and any Vedic wisdom that flows.

This is the first time where I have felt the cascading benefits of meditation in an effortless and gentle way, that actually leaves me looking forward to meditation. It took me years to take the plunge into a meditation course - I wasn’t sure what course to do, and with whom. Steph came recommended through a few different sources, and I’m so glad I did this introduction course with her!

Stef is an amazing teacher who is extremely inspirational, down to earth and relatable. She explained everything in an easy manner and was happy to answer any questions that arised during the course. Prior to learning mediation from Stef, I had always struggled to quieten my mind and was prone to anxious thoughts and generally overwhelmed by everything I felt I needed to get done. I had tried meditating via various apps and counting my breath but it just left me feeling frustrated. After the first day of the course I knew Vedic meditation was something I could easily implement and am still meditating and seeing massive changes in my life. Stef is both a beautiful human and an amazing teacher - she explains things so well and has designed the course in a way that makes it so easy to build up

I recently learnt Vedic Meditation with Steph and I cannot recommend her highly enough. I had always told myself I wasn't the meditating type - it was too hard and I there is no way I could clear thoughts from my mind. In four short sessions, Steph had me meditating sucessfully twice a day. She immediately puts you as ease, removing judgement and worry from the process of learning to meditate. I feel calmer, more positive, and less reactive to situations. I know i've gained a valuable tool for life. This is the type of self care worth investing in.
